Ronald started his career in the criminal justice system as a police officer in Fresno CA. He was assigned to patrol, provided VIP protection to visiting VIPs and dignitaries, was part of the MAIT investigation unit and reconstructed traffic collisions, and was a member of the K9 unit as an agitator. After 10 years, Ronald left the police department to pursue a career in private investigations. Ronald investigated all forms of cases, civil, employment, but specialized in criminal defense and capital cases investigating both guilt and mitigation phases of those cases. Ronald also taught criminology classes at the college level as well as police academy classes.
Ronald attended San Joaquin College of Law from 2007 to 2010. While attending law school, Ronald was hired by the Tulare County Public Defender as their Chief Investigator. He remained in this role for 16 years, managing all investigations in the office and occasionally litigating cases in court after being admitted to the California Bar. Ronald was actively involved in the California Defense Investigators Association serving as their President twice, and Instructor of Record for the Defense Investigators Academy for 10 years. Ronald was promoted to Assistant Public Defender and served in that position prior to his retirement.
Ronald is now a member of the United Law Firm as an Investigator Attorney.
