Julian Benavidez has always been passionate about helping those who could not help themselves. Mr. Benavidez became a lawyer because it gave him a way to impact people’s lives in a positive manner. From the time he decided to pursue a career in law, it was always his goal to become a criminal defense attorney and to fight to protect the rights of the accused. Julian Benavidez has over eight years of experience as a criminal defense attorney. He began his legal career working as a criminal defense attorney in Yuba and Nevada County in Northern California. From there, Mr. Benavidez spent a couple years working as a deputy public defender in San Bernardino County, gaining significant trial experience handling misdemeanors and serious felonies. From DUI charges to charges of attempted murder, Mr. Benavidez gained a tremendous amount of trial and litigation experience building strategic defenses and zealously advocating to defend his clients. Mr. Benavidez continued to gain a tremendous amount of experience as a criminal defense attorney in Orange County working as a deputy public defender for over four years handling misdemeanors and serious felonies. While working there, Mr. Benavidez gained experience working in what is considered the most conservative county in California.
