Edward James Davis became a criminal defense attorney to uphold due process, the presumption of innocence, and the right to a fair trial. He combines aggressive, results-driven legal representation with a client-centered approach.
Edward’s interest in criminal defense was sparked years ago when he served as the foreperson of a racially divided jury in a drug case. That experience impressed upon him the importance of carefully guiding jurors through all the evidence and holding the government to its burden of proving every element of a charge beyond a reasonable doubt.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Edward studied in Washington, D.C., earning degrees from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. He brings a wealth of professional and civic experience to the courtroom—beginning his career as a Special Assistant to the Governor of California, and later serving as Press Secretary to the Mayor of Los Angeles.
Edward is a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court and is licensed to practice law in California, Georgia, and the District of Columbia.
